Meredith Spoon, OTR/L
As a highly trained, licensed and registered occupational therapist, I provide home-based occupational therapy services for children 0-17 years of age, specializing in sensory-friendly haircuts. With 18-years of experience and a life-long passion for children, I work in collaboration with families and caregivers to help children develop, improve, and master skills to more efficiently and independently play, learn, and sparkle! I love to have fun in therapy! I also love to enable learning, encourage, and support families to nurture their children's "rainbow roots" so their colors shine bright for all to see!

Rainbow Roots is a contracted insurance provider with Aetna, Anthem, CareSource, Cigna, Medical Mutual, Molina, Tricare/Humana, and UHC commercial/marketplace plans (not UHC Medicaid plan). Rainbow Roots is an approved provider for the ODE Autism Scholarship program. A competitive private pay rate is also available.
Rainbow Roots provides good faith estimates of health care costs as part of the No Suprises Act.

Occupational Therapy
Comprehensive evaluation and treatment to improve your child's abilities in: fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, self-care, self-regulation, social play, and handwriting.

Whether you want to cut your child's hair at home or a professional haircut is what you need, Rainbow Roots will improve your child's ability to tolerate it.
Rainbow Roots provides occupational therapy to improve sensory processing, practice haircut components, and familiarize your child with the materials and process to decrease anxiety and increase tolerance for having hair cut.
